Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol gives birth to son. And names him Tripp.

According to an article from the Associated Press, Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, just gave birth to a baby boy.

People magazine reported that 18-year-old Bristol Palin gave birth to Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Sunday. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol's grandmother, told the magazine that "the baby is fine and Bristol is doing well."

Tripp with two p's? Seriously? What, she's been a pseudo celebrity for not even a year yet, and she's already breaking out the weird kid names? I'll be waiting for the reality show, starring her and her baby's daddy Levi soon on VH1.

Hold on, the kid's last name is Johnston? Did they get married? I take a break from the Internets for just one week to peacefully celebrate consumerism with my family, and I'm suddenly out of the pop-cult loop. SHEESH!
